| How to
create High-Quality Level Files:
How to create Levelfiles compatible to MouseMaster23k.exe V1.0
in 7 simple steps:
01. choose your Paint Programm : e.g. MSPaint, Gimp,
Corel Draw ...... whatever
02. Make your picture 400 x 400 Pixels, the MouseMaster23k standard
03. Use exact colours for Walls, Start- and Endpoint
00.00.00 HEX or 000,000,000 RGB for Walls (pure
Black)
00.FF.oo HEX or 000,255,000 RGB for Start (pure
Green)
FF.00.00 HEX or 255,000,000 RGB for Ending (pure Red)
Mousemaster23k will ignore all other colours.
Be careful: Some Graphic Programms interpret Green as
(2,0,2) and Red as (0,4,4)! Use an option that sounds
like "force basic colours" to avoid that error.
04. make it 32,24,16,8 or 4 bit (4bit is coolest
& slimmest, else use what is needed.).
05. Save as Bitmap (*.bmp) and do not use Compression
(no RLE !!!) or
"reversed lines". Put it in the MouseMaster folder and you are
done.
06. If it is good -> send it to mouse@dopeconnection.net, it may be put to
the Levelfiles Gallery @ www.dopeconnection.net
07. If your level dosen't work and you really do not know why
(check the stuff
mentioned above) send it to mouse@dopeconnection.net and ask for help that
will be provided in most cases.

| Skinnable |
How to create Skins for MouseMaster23k:
There is also the possibility to create new Skins for MouseMaster23k.
If you are a graphic fan improve the MM23k Interface.
The files "mm_1.gfx","mm_1.gfx" and "mm_1.gfx" are just bitmaps defining the main
apperance of it.
Copy and rename them to ".bmp" and open them with your Graphic Utility.
Now you can do a skin as you like...rename and copy back...Done.
(But the white area has to stay white for correct painting.)
Nice ones are welcome to be posted on the webpage. |
